Who we are
Mop Idol Ltd (company number 17205785), registered office 29 Egbert Street, Manchester M40 5ER, is the controller of your personal data. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZC185400. For any privacy question, email support@mopidol.co.uk.
What we process and why
We process personal data to run the service, including for: account creation and identity/contact management; property setup; booking and payment; access instructions; calendar connection; service delivery and cleaner allocation; customer support and complaints; safety and fraud prevention; notifications; analytics; marketing; and legal compliance.
Lawful bases
We rely on: performance of our contract with you (to set up and deliver your bookings and take payment); our legitimate interests (to run, secure and improve the service, prevent fraud and keep people safe); your consent (for non-essential cookies and certain marketing); and legal obligations (for example tax and accounting records). You can withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run the service. These currently include Vercel, GitHub, Stripe, Resend, Twilio, Supabase, Slack, browser push-notification and SMS providers, Ideal Postcodes, and Google Ads and analytics tools. Some act as our processors; some may act as independent controllers for parts of their service, such as payment processing, fraud prevention or legal compliance. Where required, we use contracts and safeguards to protect your data.
Access and security information
Access notes, codes and property-security information are treated as sensitive operational data. We restrict who can see them to the people who need them to deliver your clean, and we do not share them beyond that.
Retention and transfers
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet legal, accounting and safety obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Where data is processed outside the UK by a processor, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise them, email support@mopidol.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd like the chance to put things right first.

You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by emailing us.
